Weber Appraisals Services, Inc. conducts inspections in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice required by the National Association of Home Inspectors which include the following:
1. The inspector will express an opinion only when it is based on practical experience and honest conviction.
2. The inspector will always act in good faith toward the client.
3. The inspector will not disclose any information concerning the results of the inspection without the approval of the client for whom the inspection was performed.
4. An appraisal or opinion of the market value of the inspected property will not be expressed by the inspector within the context of the inspection.
5. The standards apply to a visual inspection the readily accessible areas of the property, components and systems. |

6. The purpose of the inspection is to identify visible defects and/or conditions that, in the judgment of the inspector, adversely affect the function and integrity of the items, components and systems inspected, or the health and safety of the dwelling occupants.
7. Inspections performed under these standards are basically visual and rely on the opinion, judgment and experience of the inspector, and are not intended to be technically exhaustive.
8. Inspections performed under these standards shall not be construed as a compliance inspection of any code.
