A. The conduct of the appraisers should at all times be professional, with due regard to the rights of the client and the public. The information and results of the appraisal shall be confidential between the appraiser and the client, and may not be revealed with without the permission of the client.

B. The appraiser shall keep fully informed regarding the facts and circumstances surrounding the real property in the areas where appraisal may be made and be fully aware of matters affecting real estate resulting in actions taken by City, County, State or continuing education opportunities to serve the client and the public better.

C. The appraiser shall not be a party to, or prepare an appraisal report, knowing that the facts contained therein are not true in whole or part, or significant facts have been knowingly omitted and will not prepare a written appraisal report without including all of the elements considered good practice by industry peers.



D. The appraiser shall not be a party to an appraisal where the fee is contingent upon the final estimate of value, or agree to provide testimony where the fee is contingent upon the outcome of the court case, or be a party to appraising property where the appraiser as an interest, either present or contingent, without full disclosure to all parties.

E. The appraiser shall not attempt to appraise property that is beyond the experience or education of the appraiser, unless competent assistance is sought from a more experienced appraiser, and full disclosure is made in the report.

F. The appraiser shall comply with all laws and regulations that may be applicable to real estate appraisal.
